At the edge of the village of Kaltbrunn SG I run the Langwies farm in the fourth generation together with my wife Brigitte and our three children. The best grass of the Linth plain is turned into healthy, high-quality Swiss milk by our 40 cows. The 200 hens also enjoy almost limitless outdoor exercise and lay an egg almost every day. We process our apples, pears, plums and berries with great love into syrup and jams.
We are particularly concerned about nature-oriented agriculture and the protection of animals and the environment. We take responsibility for the agriculture of tomorrow and every year we train one apprentice as a farmer EFZ.
Our vision is to build a bridge between farmer and consumer with the farm shop. Thanks to our milk vending machine, fresh cow’s milk can be obtained 24 hours a day.
In addition, our self-service refrigerator provides fresh eggs, fruit, jams and syrup around the clock. Our farm shop is located on a barn wall, protected from the weather.
