Meat lovers are absolutely right with me! Not only 80 hectares of dry meadows, quality meadows and fens belong to the Bio-Hof Cadresch, but also a herd of Luing cows. The Luing breed comes from a Scottish island and is very adaptable thanks to its calm character and hairy coat. The meat has a particularly high quality, because we feed exclusively our own feed (grass, silo, hay). In addition, the calves live with their mother cows for the first ten months of their lives and spend the whole summer on our large pastures, some of which are 2,000 metres above sea level.
We sell the tender and slightly marbled meat, which is provided with healthy intermuscular fats, as mixed packages (1/8 beef à approx. 15 kg, 1/4 beef à approx. 30 kg, 1/2 beef à approx. 60 kg, 1/1 beef à approx. 120 kg). Included in a mixed package: Filet (from 1/4 beef), roast, biscuits à la minute, juice biscuits, entrecôte, steak, sliced meat, pre-dinner and boiled meat. We also produce fine sausages for an extra charge. If you would like to try our meat first, you are welcome to come first to our farmers pub, where we also sell other specialities like “Luing Salsize”, “Fleischkäse” or “Mostbröckli”.
Come and visit us when you are near Lenzerheide. We are looking forward to your visit, be it in the farmers pub or on the Alp.
