Our farm “Praz-Jouly” is managed by Michel and Benoît Gremaud in a father-son association. The village of Le Pâquier is situated at the foot of the Moléson, near Gruyères, a famous tourist resort, and near Charmey, famous for its traditional “Désalpes”. The farm, located two kilometres from the village, offers us a breathtaking view of the Fribourg Prealps.
For several generations we have been breeding our Holstein dairy cows with passion. We mainly produce milk which is labelled with IP-Suisse and Lait des prés. We bring the milk to the “Maison Cailler” in Broc. This chocolate factory is one of the most visited places in Switzerland because of its high quality chocolate.
We also work together with Faireswiss. Our building for our dairy cows was built in 2016 to provide our protégés with the necessary comfort. Our ÖLN farm (ecological performance certificate) is based on feed production. During the summer period the young cattle graze on the mountain pastures near the farm.
We have organised a 24-hour self-service vending machine at the edge of our farm. You can find it there:
– our fresh milk (please bring your own container)
– Dry sausages
– Veal sausages, Cervelats and Schüblig
– Bolognese sauce
– Minced meat
You can also order meat for freezing from us. The meat is prepared by the butcher nearby.
All these products are frozen in vacuum-packed bags to guarantee you perfect quality. We also accept payment by twint and we trust you completely.
